New York Metropolitan Transportation Council Meeting: “Making New York’s Transportation System More Resilient”
The New York Metropolitan Transportation Council (NYMTC) Meeting will feature a Special Presentation by Seth Diamond, New York State Director for Storm Recovery, on “Making New York’s Transportation System More Resilient.” The members of the New York Metropolitan Transportation Council will take action to adopt the Draft 2014 – 2040 Regional Transportation Plan and Congestion Management Process Report; the 2014-2018 Transportation Improvement Program; and the Transportation Conformity Determination. This nearly trillion dollar transportation plan lays out how the region should plan for and invest in transportation over the next 25 years. Taken together, these federally required major products and analyses are critical to enabling hundreds of billions of dollars of federal transportation funds to flow to the region.
