- You must be present to get a helmet and you must learn how to properly fit it.
A parent or legal guardian must be present to sign a waiver for children under age 18.
Adults over age 18 receiving a helmet must sign a waiver.
Join NYC DOT, Bike New York, NYC Department of Health, Transportation Alternatives and Brownsville Partnership for helmet fittings. (Free learn-to-ride classes, which had been a part of this event, have been cancelled due to due to space and schedule conflicts.)
