Brooklyn Community Board 8 Transportation Committee: Franklin Avenue Bike Corral

The bike corral, installed in December after approval by the community board, is the subject of a petition by those who wish to see it removed and replaced with car parking. According to committee co-chair Rob Witherwax, the issue will again be up for discussion at this meeting of the transportation committee.

Happy it’s up for discussion it’s a issue which has polarized some residence saying why wasn’t everyone canvassed to see the feelings towards the corral especially since th b48 was placed back on Franklin ave after a two year hiatus with massive community support working together to get the mta to see the need for that mode of trsnsportation
