This is the monthly meeting of the Manhattan Community Board 3 Transportation & Public Safety / Environment Committee. On the agenda:
- Request to extend bike lane markings on East 2nd Street east of Second Ave for 1 block to reach First Ave
- Forsyth Plaza: DDC presentation/update on Forsyth Street Plaza & request for design support
- Ban left-turn off south-bound Essex St onto east-bound Delancey St at all times (this is currently a 4-7pm restriction)
- Street Bike Rack in front of MudSpot Coffee Shop at 307 East 9th Street
- Request for speed bump on Orchard St (Stanton/Rivington)
- Status of Newsstand at 18 Bowery
- Review of 2011 goals & accomplishments/committee goals for 2012
