This is the monthly meeting of the Manhattan Community Board 2 Traffic & Transportation Committee. On the agenda:
- Saint Vincent’s Campus Redevelopment Project – Discussion of potential traffic impacts. Public input at this hearing will inform Community Board 2 recommendations regarding a certified ULURP application. (Joint Meeting with St. Vincent’s Omnibus Committee)
- Request to co-name the northwest corner of Elizabeth and Spring Sts. “William and Sarah Riccio Corner” – continued discussion.
- Presentation by Hudson Square Connection BID: Update on implementation of pedestrian safety and traffic management improvements recommended in the BID’s interim traffic management plan.
- Discussion of safety improvements to address hazards at the Canal and Hudson Sts. intersection.
- Request to review proposed pilot project to place food trucks in two Broome St. locations near the Holland Tunnel.
