The Transportation Alternatives East Side Volunteer Committee is working hard on two key issues right now:

1. Advocating for the East Side Bikeway (protected bike lanes on 1st and 2nd avenues) to be complete from Houston to 125th street, in 2011.

2. Working to close the gap on the East Side Greenway, as well as fix safety issues along the corridor.

We’re also always discussing other issues of concern, building our community, and planning fun events. Come to meet fellow advocates at the meeting and get involved in what we’re working on.
