The New York State Department of Transportation is beginning a project to rehabilitate the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway, or Interstate 278, between Atlantic Avenue and Sands Street in downtown Brooklyn. Over the coming months, the project team will be analyzing the condition of the roadway and considering opportunities to improve the facility for all who use it.
