Creating a more sustainable New York must be one of the City's highest priorities because of its implications in almost every facet of our lives: from how we work to how we play and live, from building construction to public transit. PlaNYC 2030, New York City’s blueprint for a more sustainable city, vastly elevated the standards for government operations and increased public awareness of the issue. But how is it working on the ground? How is it impacting on the lives and work of residents? What is it succeeding at doing and where is it coming up short? What additional strategies are needed to close any gaps in PlaNYC to advance a sustainable future for New York?
