WNYC Political Director Andrea Bernstein will moderate a panel discussion with Jeff Zupan, Regional Plan Association’s Senior Fellow for Transportation, William Wheeler, MTA Director of Special Project Development and Planning, and transit historian Peter Derrick, addressing the recommendations offered by the recent RPA study, Tomorrow's Transit: New Mobility for the Region's Urban Core. In 2008 this landmark study recommended various means to provide new and upgraded transit for the city's five boroughs and northern New Jersey, detailing new subway, bus, commuter rail, light rail and ferry projects.
