The Gowanus Canal Conservancy will host its second annual fall beer tasting. This year’s tasting will be led by Jeff Gorlechen of Sixpoint Craft Ales who will lead us through a tasting of specialty brews, accompanied by Josh Sharkey of Park Slope’s Bark who will be on site preparing a special selection of the restaurant’s “artisan chic” hot dogs. Our special guests for this event will be Steve Levin and Brad Lander, the Democratic City Council candidates for the 33rd and 39th districts, respectively, which encompass most of the Gowanus Canal. The Conservancy holds its annual fall beer tasting the day after election day and always with a post election-theme.
