#2 Cap'n Transit, "oriented towards rail, buses, biking and walking."

more likely modular small vehicle transit (GM PUMA and smaller; Shweeb proof of concept prototype), biking and walking; conventional massive transit is extremely extravagant retro and wasteful.

You beat me to it, Gecko; I was going to observe how bizarre it is to have a panel discussion about the effects of climate change on transportation infrastructure, with apparently no mention of the idea that people might drive and fly a lot less in order to avoid bringing about any more climate change, and that therefore the transportation infrastructure would be a lot more oriented towards rail, buses, biking and walking.

kind of bizarre; not a single comment; considering climate change and that cars do not fit in the future being such a terrific waste of resources.
