Join us for a bus and walking tour of the architecture of the Grand Concourse, the magnificent Bronx boulevard that is enjoying its 100th birthday this year. We will travel the length of the Concourse and explore a couple of parts of it in more depth on foot. We will visit the Bronx Museum of the Arts, located in an exciting new building by Arquitectonica. Along the way, we will see many classic apartment buildings, including Horace Ginsbern’s 1150 Grand Concourse, as well as the Bronx County Building, Rafael Vinoly’s Bronx Family Court, and much more. Leader: Francis Morrone, architectural historian and co-author of Intersections: The Grand Concourse at 100.
