Please bring a working bike, helmet and lock.

Join the Transportation Alternatives Queens Committee on this 25-mile bike ride, beginning at the War Memorial in Astoria Park on Shore Blvd and looping up to and back from Flushing. We'll pass many historical and cultural stops in Queens, like the Lemon King, Sunnyside Historical District and the birthplace of Scrabble! We'll be joined by local historian Rich Melnick of the Greater Astoria Historical Society, who will impart his wealth of knowledge of the area.

The halfway point will be Flushing Meadows, where riders who want a shorter ride can return via bike or subway. Ends at the Bohemian Beer Garden in Astoria.
