Manhattan Community Board 8′s Transportation Committee is convening a "Bike Forum" to discuss pedestrian-bicyclist conflicts and explore ways to improve safety.

On the agenda:

1. Improving enforcement and public awareness of existing bicycle related laws and regulations
2. What changes and/or additions to existing laws and regulations made the most sense
3. Changes in street design/traffic control devices that will improve safety for all parties and allow them to better” share the road”.
4. Ways to improve mutual respect among bicycles, motorists and pedestrians
