At the meeting last Tuesday regarding the West Side Manhattan Transportation Study, Forgione said that DOT is looking to build out the bike master plan in the UWS and is looking for direction from CB7. This is the time to go and speak up for protected lanes on Columbus, Amsterdam, and Broadway. She said they were definitely open to ideas, including which avenues should even get lanes.
