		<description>Sarah, excellent choice of post, as usual. This discussion brings to mind the hidden costs of the auto. To whom do we charge all the costs of things like walk/don&#039;t walk signs, speed bumps, line-painting for crosswalks, pedestrian overpasses?... it adds up. These are costs that should all be charged to the auto, because walking is necessary, but the auto is not.</description>
