		<description>As a fellow complete streets advocate, I&#039;d like to see less of the term &quot;wheelchair-bound&quot;.  A wheelchair isn&#039;t a trap: it&#039;s a tool for mobility and access, like a bicycle or a scooter or legs.  Why should we use a term connoting pity or dependence for one legitimate street user and not another (eg, &quot;pedestrian&quot; or &quot;transit user&quot; as opposed to &quot;carless person&quot;, etc) ?  Wheelchair users are street users just like pedestrians and bicyclists, and our infrastructure needs to be designed for everyone&#039;s access.</description>
