How about motorists lead the way by wearing reflective clothing and "light up vests", if they like those so much? Drivers can be so hard to see at night when stepping out of their parked cars into bicycle lanes. I fear I may crash into one of these non-luminescent beings (oops!), therefore, I'm righteously compelled to call for legislated dress for this extreme sport of car-exiting so I that don't have to scan the street more carefully.

Levin didn't even make it because he was too far from the debate. His campaign headquarters is located outside the 33rd District at Vito Lopez's political club in Bushwick.

The most important question of the night was audience question #2, "How did you get here?"

Ken Baer took the subway and Evan Thies walked. Everyone else drove. I don't care how many nice things you can say about transit, the politicians who fix transit are the ones who take transit. Same for biking and walking.

Thanks for the coverage for those of us who couldn't get there. I did see a huge wedding going on on Bedford down around Flushing Ave. at about 9 p.m.
