Did anyone else catch the article about NJ Gov candidate Christy was stopped in 2005 for speeding in a non-registered, non-insured car...?

The Queens people fail to ask the key question: why is painting and tightening loose bolts something in the capital program, and borrowed for?

As for the SAS, the crowding on the Lex is beastly, and eventually its service will have to be slashed as the signals are replaced or fail. Are those not people too?

The vast majority of the transit system doesn't benefit me, but people could argue that the Culver line should not be rehabbed, because it doesn't affect them.

The Jamaica Avenue line had its signals replaced, and good to go for another 50 years. The Queens Boulevard line has signals replaced more than 75 years ago, and has a problem. Do any of these people even know this? OK, I only know this because I used to work there. But if the whole asset database was out on the web, would any of these pols bother to go through it?
