In an effort to raise awareness for the critical need for transformational change to our federal transportation program, U.S. Rep. Rush Holt will join local constituents and Peter Kasabach of New Jersey Future for "Take Your Legislator to Work Day," a challenge for local elected officials to experience the daily commutes of New Jersey constituents. Rep. Holt will ride the Northeast Corridor line, boarding the train at Princeton Junction and alighting in Trenton.
"Take Your Legislator To Work Day" was created by New Jersey Future, a member of the Transportation for America campaign, to advocate for investment in a safe, clean and smart transportation system that creates and facilitates job growth and spends taxpayer dollars transparently.
Holt will board the 9:04 a.m. train at Princeton Junction
Holt will alight in Trenton at 9:24
If you'd like to ride along with Holt for the ride, please meet at the Princeton Junction station at 8:45.
If you would like to speak with Rep. Holt or Peter Kasabach after the ride, a press availability is scheduled for 9:24 on tracks 1/2 of the Trenton station.
