When's the last time you were on Navy St? A couple weeks ago it was quite well paved. So unless they tore it up since then, it should be fine.

Looks promising! Have they finished paving Navy St too? I'd much rather use Navy/Ashland (I'm in Park Slope) to get to the Manhattan than Jay Street, but the pavement down there has been almost unrideable for months.

Fantastic. They should call this bike path "Budnick Way" since Sands Street nearly killed him and the resulting advocacy helped create this. Glad it didn't end up being the Noah Budnick Memorial Bike Path.

Finally part of the link Prospect Park-Manhattan will be restored. Today they were starting to put the tar.

However, the bridge over Atlantic Yards on Carlton Avenue is still gone, and the works on Atlantic Yards have stopped. It was a nice save bike lane to Sands Street.

Glad this is finally (almost) done. It took a few bad injuries, but it seems like the city took the suggestions of riders and came up with a good solution. They're working on the Brooklyn side of the Brooklyn bridge, now let's find a solution for the Manhattan approach to the Williamsburg bridge.

It is a truly bitchin' design, a great use of the massive paved space along Sands, and I cannot wait to alter my riding habits to make use of this.

May they lay a screenline down along it, so that I may vote with my wheels.
