About the CSS National Dialog
The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and the Center for Transportation and Environment (CTE) at North Carolina State University are sponsoring the CSS National Dialog, a broad-based ‘conversation’ on CSS. The Dialog is supported by a Steering Committee with a broad range of expertise in transportation and related policy and projects.
- Deliver CSS principles and practices to a wide array of partner organizations
- Strengthen and broaden the constituency for CSS
- Discover new opportunities for partnerships
- Bring new perspectives to the practice of planning, designing, building, operating and maintaining transportation facilities
- Foster a community of CSS practice
The Dialog will be spearheaded by a series of five, one-day workshops to be held in various locations across the country. Each workshop will focus on a particular aspect of CSS, and use and exemplary transportation project, plan or program to highlight CSS best practices and provide a springboard for discussion and interaction.
