The ambitious expansion of New York City’s park system is characterized by an innovative intertwining of natural and designed environments. This program will focus on three new and exceptional projects: Riverside Park South, Freshkills and Concrete Plant parks. The panel will examine the design, financing, and programming as they seek to highlight the politics, philosophies, and practices that shape urban parks today.
