I will be biking to my summer job as usual, first riding with my friend to her high school uptown. There has been a food vender blocking the bike lanes with his cart infront of Lagaurdia high school for almost a month now. I asked him to move it a mere 3 feet over to open up the racks – I’ll see if he decided it was worth his time.

Thanks for this. I do work with DOT often but didn’t know about this, and it’s cool and something I will pass on to people who will participate.

Memo to the editors — this is *relevant*, or dare I say, “blogging at its best.” To the point, well-linked, and informative about something specific and interesting (and a break from hearing about Portland for the millionth time). And Brad Aaron didn’t go into how fabulous the event will be since he (or rather, Naparstek) will be there. Well done.
