Congressman Jerrold Nadler (NY-08), the senior Northeastern Democrat on the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, and Congressman Michael McMahon (NY-13) will host a Transportation Priorities Meeting.
This meeting is in anticipation of this year’s reauthorization of Congress’s major transportation bill. Hundreds of billions of dollars in transportation funding – and all of New York’s transportation and infrastructure needs – hang in the balance, and it will be essential for leaders in all of our communities across New York State to work together to ensure that there is enough federal funding to adequately invest in our infrastructure. Representatives from all levels of government, as well as civic, business and labor organizations with a stake in New York’s transportation issues will be attending. This meeting will be open to the media and the general public.
