Bike to MoMA Monday Nights on May 4 and get free bicycle valet parking and half-price admission! One Monday a month, The Museum of Modern Art stays open until 8:45 p.m. Drop in after hours for exhibitions, films, music, tapas, cash bar, and a bite to eat at Cafe 2 (limited evening menu)—plus the first 600 ticket buyers after 5:30 p.m. get a free return pass for their next visit.
On May 4, Flavorpill presents DJ sets by Warp Records’s Prefuse 73 and New Release’s Justin Carter and Eamon Harkin. Flavorpill subscribers get half off admission for the evening.
Exhibitions on view include Tangled Alphabets: León Ferrari and Mira Schendel and the final week of Martin Kippenberger: The Problem Perspective. In the theaters at 7:00 p.m., Budapest-based avant-garde media artist and film director Péter Forgács presents his most recent film, Hunky Blues: The American Dream, as part of the ongoing series Modern Mondays. (Screening is included in the cost of admission; tickets are first come, first served.)
