The City Council will seek public feedback on the proposed Eastern Rail Yards zoning text amendments. The hearing, the City Council's first ever on the rail yards, will be a rare opportunity to show the Council how much public support there is for preserving the High Line at the rail yards.

It is essential that we make a strong showing at this hearing. You do not have to speak. All you have to do is show up for part or all of the hearing.

Free T-shirts: We will provide bright red "Save the High Line at the Rail Yards" t-shirts, yours to keep. If you already have a red "Save the Spur" T-shirt from the December 1 rally, please wear it!

Please note, you will have to go through a security checkpoint before entering the plaza in front of City Hall. Tell the security staff that you are there for the City Council hearing.

We will meet outside the Council Committee Room at 9:15, to distribute t-shirts and signs. It's ok if you can't stay the entire time, or if you can't make it until later. Just join us inside to get your red T-shirt.
