Wouldn't that be the very least the DA and NYPD should be doing to keep New Yorkers safe? How could Morgenthau and the cops put this guy back in the driver's seat after the negligence he showed? And it's not about lynching this one driver (although he should of course be sensibly charged), but about getting our District Attorneys to grow a grasp of reality when it comes to car-related damage and death.
