Hooray!

Worth noting that not less than 24-hours after "opening the doors," sf.streetsblog.org was already the go-to source for the story on the Market/Octavia bike lane. What a good sign!

This is a great day for those of us who love the streets of San Francisco (and yes, I do resemble the much-younger Michael Douglas, at least my '70s-era neckties). As Aaron notes, this excellent media outlet and forum arrives not a moment too soon to engage the Bay Area's many many streetscape and public realm stories, good and bad, and to comfort or afflict (as appropriate) the agents and their actions (or inactions, as is all too often the case). Welcome!

Yay!

It's great to see a rare increase in quality journalism here in this era, especially about a topic that's so ripe for being covered more regularly. I look forward to reading this daily and seeing this community covered the way it deserves to be.
