What if all the expectations we have about the future are wrong?

"BLIND SPOT" illustrates the energy crisis currently facing modern society. Whatever measures of greed, wishful thinking, neglect or ignorance may be at the core of our predicament, we suddenly find ourselves at a crossroads, offering two treacherous paths. If we continue to burn fossil fuels we will choke the life out of the planet and if we don't our way of life will collapse.

Noted director and cinematographer Adolfo Doring ("Capturing the Friedmans") has crafted a powerful film, combining startling imagery with the narration of some of the leading experts and visionaries of our time, including: Derrick Jensen, Richard Heinberg, Lester Brown, Bill McKibbon, James Hanson, Albert Bartlett, Roscoe Bartlett, William Catton, Matt Savinar, Joseph Tainter, David Korten and Kenneth Deffeyes.

"The next few decades aren't going to look like the last few - not at all. And the sooner we come to terms with that, the better. This documentary is a good place to start." - Bill McKibben
