How embedded is the term "accident" [1] when it comes to injury and death inflicted by automobile? Early this week, a man in the Tremont section of the Bronx was run down by a driver, who threw him into the path of an oncoming bus. He later died of his injuries. Police believe the driver targeted the victim after an argument at a baby shower. WABC [2] reports:
A witness says he saw the entire incident from his window. Loud fighting woke him up and when he looked outside, it looked like the accident happened intentionally.
Not that we haven't seen it before [3].
