I wish someone would take responsibility for getting dangerous drivers off our streets.

If cars were required to have license plates we might be able to make citizen’s arrests using our ubiquitous cellphone cameras. Oh wait, they already have license plates and the NYPD/DA does nothing against speeding and reckless drivers, what makes you think a 'citizens' arrest will be more successful for bicycles with license plates which you will hardly be able to read anyway.

With increasing heavy traffic on streets and avenues– with and/or without bike lanes– more and more brazen drivers are speeding down avenues, especially in Manhattan. And not only taxi drivers!

With increasing heavy traffic on streets and avenues-- with and/or without bike lanes-- more and more brazen riders are weaving down sidewalks, especially in Manhattan. And not only delivery guys!
