Santa Clara County Measure B extends BART from its current endpoint to the Caltrain line in San Jose, which would complete the loop of rail around the San Francisco Bay.

We got a ballot proposition that would do some bonding for High Speed Rail. Proposition 1A would raise the money, through bonding, to run a high speed rail line from San Francisco to San Diego via LA. Would be pretty cool if it happens.

Actually, KK in Berkeley would make it more difficult to build BRT or light rail, by requiring a vote of the people any time a lane is converted from auto to transit use. But we at No on KK are expecting a big victory: the mayor, all the councilmembers, the Sierra Club, the League of Women Voters, and many more have endorsed no on KK>
