PBS affiliate WNET will air three back-to-back episodes of "e2", the critically acclaimed PBS series produced by New York-based documentary production company kontentreal. Currently in its third season, "e2" is narrated by Brad Pitt and Morgan Freeman and explores attainable solutions to pressing environmental and social challenges.
The episodes will be preceded by a series of kontentreal-produced interstitials in which prominent figures including author and The New Yorker environmental reporter Elizabeth Kolbert, New York City Head of Long-Term Planning and Sustainability, Rohit "Rit" Aggarwala and green architects Bob Fox and Rich Cook will discuss themes from each episode and how they relate to New York's urban landscape.
