A livable streets revolution is sweeping the nation and now is the time for San Francisco to take center stage! With Streetsblog coming to town and the imminent launch of the new Great Streets campaign, the city is abuzz.
Join the Livable Streets Network, the Office of Mayor Gavin Newsom, and SF Bicycle Coalition for a screening of Streetfilms: fun, web-based shorts about our public street space and how it can be better used for walking and playing, greening and gathering, bicycling and public transit. Learn about international innovations from Bogota’s Bus Rapid Transit system to SF’s own Sunday Streets and find out how you can make your city more livable.
Screening, followed by discussion, sponsored by the Stegner Environmental Center and the Audiovisual Center at the San Francisco Public Library.
