About the speakers:

Rob Crauderueff, Policy Director at Sustainable South Bronx, oversees SSBx's advocacy efforts for equitable land use, economic development, and environmental policies.   He is a graduate of Columbia College's Urban Studies Program.  Founded in 2001 by life-long South Bronx resident, Dr. Majora Carter, SSBx addresses land-use, energy, transportation, water and waste policy, and education to advance the environmental and economic rebirth of the South Bronx, and inspire solutions in areas like it across the nation and around the world.

Joyce Klein Rosenthal is a doctoral candidate in the Urban Planning Program at Columbia University. Her research examines the relationships between urban climate, health and the built and social environment, and the link between research and policy in the development of neighborhood-level strategies for climate protection.
