Join the Transportation Alternatives Queens Committee as we ride from Astoria, Queens to Fort Tilden, on Rockaway Peninsula. This 40-mile round trip ride will travel through Prospect Park and quiet Brooklyn neighborhoods, as well as on the Shore Parkway Greenway and Marine Parkway Bridge. Our visit to the Rockaways will feature a guided tour of some of the old - and quite active - Fort Tilden buildings, courtesy of the Rockaway Waterfront Alliance.

As part of the Queens Committee's Membership Month programming, Rockaway Ride participants are encouraged to become members of Transportation Alternatives at a discounted rate of $20 each (payable at the start of the ride). Current members ride for free.
