MAKE YOUR VOICE HEARD
The Hudson Park & Boulevard is being planned as four acres of newly created parks and open spaces between Tenth and Eleventh Avenues from West 33rd to 42nd Streets.
The Hudson Yards Developement Corporation and the Departments of Parks, Transportation and City Planning have organized a competition to select a designer. Five design teams were invited to submit a proposal. The winner will be picked October 3, 2008.
Let's make sure the selected designer adresses our community's goals:
- Will it be mostly for cars or for people?
- Will it be mostly for workers or for residents and neighbors?
- Will it be mostly shaded and green or more like a plaza?
- Will it be open 24 hours a day?
- What should it bring that the neighborhood lacks ?
