Transportation Alternatives, elected officials and fellow New Yorkers will urge the City Council to pass a law requiring bicycle access in office buildings in New York City.

A bikes in buildings bill would require office buildings to permit bicycle access for employees, enable workers to store their bikes at work during the day and remove one of the biggest obstacles in cycle commuting: the lack of secure and adequate bike parking.
