I mean, the officer clearly assaulted the cyclist... charges should be laid against the cop, i know it's a crazy city requiring tough cops but for Christs sake, he smashed a guy on a bike, too pathetic for words I’ve been wondering how this would end, is the system in the US that corrupt?

An example should be made of this cretan... He obviously doesn't have the ability to decide what is or is not an appropriate action to take against a bicyclist, and more importantly, doesn't have the sense and integrity to make an honest and accurate report UNDER OATH.... Good lord, this guy should not carry a badge again for years... It really irritates me that Long's attorney would even have to be thankful that the DA dropped this case.... It is so blatantly obvious this should be dropped there is no real need to thank anyone...
