The study tour will begin promptly, with a brief discussion of NJ Transit’s waterfront light rail line. We will proceed by ferry to the new Weehawken terminal, transfer to light rail, and will include several stops en route to Jersey City. This tour will give New Yorkers a first-hand experience with light rail and the opportunity to learn how this system was realized. Key transit officials will participate in the tour.
