The Transportation Alternatives Bronx Committee has just two meetings left to help plan the Bronx leg of the NYC Century Bike Tour, and just a handful to put the wheels in motion for October's Tour de Bronx. We'll be ironing out:

  • Planning the 2008 NYC Century Bike Tour Bronx Route!
  • Setting up dates for route marking and hazard ID
  • Promoting the tour across the borough to boost T.A.'s presence and membership

This month has also see the introduction of the City's first Bus Rapid Transit route on nearby Fordham Road. We'll be brainstorming ways to beef up this new bus lane, and also to be sure it's well-received by folks who live along Fordham.
