This summer, the Straphangers Campaign will be taking a New York minute out of their day-in day-out struggle for better subway and bus service to co-sponsor a unique new performance called Standing Clear, a comedy about the distance we put between us on the subway. Please join the Straphangers Campaign for a special performance with post show talk-back with staff attorney Gene Russianoff.
A COMEDY ABOUT THE DISTANCE WE PUT BETWEEN US ON THE SUBWAY.
Coffee Cup takes to the subway to create our latest physical comedy, Standing Clear. Pressed right up against each other, but miles away, what happens when we let the people we see every day affect us?
Directed by Barbara Karger; Written & Produced by Ishah Janssen-Faith & Jack McGowan; Created in collaboration with performers: Melinda Ferraraccio, Becca Hackett, Ben Holbrook, Ishah Janssen-Faith, & Jack McGowan
RUNS: MAY 29th through JUNE 21st
Thursday, Friday & Saturday at 8pm; Sunday at 3pm & 7pm; special performances below.
