there are people in my neighborhood with horns so loud, i swear they ripped them off of a train. i am not exaggerating. really, they are that loud. i can hear them honk their horn at least a mile away. also, some people's car stereos rattle things on my shelf. in my my apartment's lease, i am entitled to something called "quiet enjoyment." this is anything but.

i can see alot of copycat stuff happening after this movie comes out. after all, we are a nation disintegrating.

The correct response is to simply ban, at a regulatory level, audible car alarms in New York. If California can write its own emissions laws, New York can surely ban audible alarms. Flashing lights, OnStar calls, etc. are fine but no beeping horns.

Sell your videogame and send the proceeds to your local police department.

I think Kunstler's World Made by Hand would make an excellent film. By depicting a world where cars have stopped running, it would be a healthy antidote to all those ridiculous movies (most recently I Am Legend) where civilized life as we know it has come to a stop but there is still one idiot with an inexplicable and endless supply of gasoline.

I hope he goes after the cancer of the car customization businesses that install alarms and the ridiculous stereo systems that set them off.
