Great ad though. It was also good that they showed some old blue-collar coot riding his bike. Shows that anyone can ride a bike and even in the snow.

Probably for the Minnesota/Wisconsin market. There hardly four-season bike riding folk up there.

Alex, Morris did the famous Switch ads for Apple Computers, and a similar series of ads for John Kerry among other commercials. I don't know whether he needed the money or just liked the challenge. According to Wikipedia, he's from Hewlett, even if he lives in L.A.

Wow, did Errol Morris really do this commercial? That’s a pretty damn famous film maker to be doing commercials, or at least he is now. Maybe he wasn’t when doing the commercial.
The ad is neat on two levels: it’s a great ad, and it’s by a now-famous film maker, maker of Fog of War, The Thin Blue Line and others.

This ad demonstrates that ethanol can be used as a substitute for gasoline, if it’s used in the right way.

Ever see other Miller commercials, like when a guy wearing a wife beater t-shirt pulls a Miller out of an empty refrigerator while cooking two hot dogs in a beat-up old frying pan? Yeah.

Not sure it trumps the new Cadillac SUV commercial, however.

Again, I think there are subversives on Madison Avenue trying to undermine their customers.
