		<description>Just got back from the Community Board.  There was one neighbor who got 80% of the homeowners on her block to sign a petition for speed humps; they voted unanimously to recommend humps on that block but did not recommend any others.

There was strong opposition to the Barnett Avenue one-way proposal from people who were afraid that the traffic from Barnett would move to 39th Avenue.  I mentioned the principle of induced demand, but didn&#039;t have time to go into it in detail.  The proposal was tabled.</description>
