It's time to clean house and get some councilmembers that reflect the true will of the people.

What NYC really wants is not congestion pricing.

In regard to any other councilmember who voted Yes on Congestion Pricing:

The NY1 poll results, taken right after the NY City Council gave the nod on congestion pricing, represent how NY'ers REALLY feel. There was obviously MUCH sellout/give back action going on at the City Council.

Those Councilmembers who voted Yes, against their constituency, on congestion pricing will lose their supporters by a ratio of 2:1.

Yes, we should all go about basing our opinions on unscientific Internet polls.

As unscientific as it seems, when I rechecked the NY1 snap poll rather late last night, these actual numbers came up. Who knows what organized lobby got to the poll since then.

Question:

Unscientifically, those Councilmembers who voted Yes, against their constituency, on congestion pricing will lose their supporters by a ratio of 2:1.

Not only is the NY1 poll an unscientific poll to begin with, and not worth bringing up in a serious conversation (unless you are a desperate congestion pricing opponent), the poll was also preceded by a piece on congestion pricing where only drivers (who were in the process of driving into Manhattan) were interviewed. Not a single subway or bus commuter was interviewed. A biased report quickly followed by a leading question. Are we surprised by the result?
