Members of the Campaign for New York’s Future will rally on the steps of City Hall to thank City Council members for their thoughtful approach to congestion pricing and to urge Albany lawmakers to act by April 7 so that New York will be eligible for $354 million in federal funding for immediate mass transit improvements.

On Monday, the majority of City Council members voted in favor of a congestion pricing plan. The initiative now requires final approval by the New York State Legislature.

The Campaign for New York's Future is an unprecedented coalition of more than 150 environmental, public health, civic, labor, community and business organizations from all five boroughs that have joined in support of PlaNYC.
