January 24 marks the first in a series of public outreach sessions on the 2010-2035 Regional Transportation Plan update. This session will be in the form of a town hall meeting and webcast at NYMTC’s offices. The live webcast can be accessed through the NYMTC website and it will also be archived after the meeting. The draft section for review and comment is "Overarching Issues and Trends" (pdf). It is the first completed draft section of the Plan update and outlines some of the external factors or conditions which are likely to influence transportation planning and policymaking in the long-term.

There will be additional opportunities for members of the public and other interested parties to comment as the comment period will be open through February 25, 2008.
