Thanks, Lars. I cycled by there this morning myself, but was too "invigorated" by dodging large pieces of ice all over the street to take my own picture.
And another area-related question: Hilary, how can we convert the Henry Hudson back to a Parkway from an Iceway? The path along the river side of the Bronx-bound highway is covered with ice from the 181st St overpass (also covered with ice) down to the Amtrak crossover. I felt like Nounours, the eco-friendly two-wheeled Arctic explorer, there this morning; finally dropped the bike flat on the off side and pushed it along the ice with my foot behind the seat post while I held on to the railing with both hands.
Lovely photo. Living in New York is good.
