The New York City Department of Transportation is pleased to announce an Open House and Public Meeting for the Downtown Brooklyn Transportation Blueprint to present preliminary recommendations and solicit public input on a comprehensive strategy for managing transportation in Downtown Brooklyn.

The Downtown Brooklyn Transportation Blueprint is a planning process to meet the multi-modal transportation needs of Downtown Brooklyn for the next 20 years. With the help of earlier public input, the study team has identified initiatives to address existing issues and future anticipated growth, and has developed a framework for monitoring the implementation of those initiatives.

We encourage community representatives, individuals with transportation expertise or opinions, and all other interested members of the public to attend. Displays of priority transportation initiatives, transportation and development trends, an implementation monitoring procedure and more will be available for the entire four hours, and a presentation summarizing the study's findings will be presented at 5 p.m. and repeated at 7 p.m. Opportunities to ask questions and express your opinions to the Project Team will be available all evening.
